Lesson 72: Stem and Leaf Plots

  1. Watch my video above (make sure you watch till the end to hear a special HELLO from Ollie!). In this video I did NOT do a very important step! STEP 3. Make a key! To do that you would pick any number, and write the following: KEY 1|1 = 11 students
  2. Now, watch this video to learn how to interpret a Stem and Leaf Plot with DECIMALS.
  3. Read Math Doodle Lesson 72.
  4. Answer the questions.
  5. Check them over.

** Please note, if this IXL is too tricky, ask for help! If it is too easy, the same skills are available at a grade 5, 6, and 7 level.

  2. Read Math Doodle Lessons 73.
  3. Try answering the three questions.
  4. Check them!
  5. Play on IXL! Look up different types of graphs including: tables, dot plots, stem and leaf plots and have some fun! If you are stuck for ideas try:
